Lund invited Viviano as his guest for the speech, which is similar to the annual State of the State address given by the governor. The State of the Judiciary was given today by Michigan Supreme Court Justice Marilyn Kelly during a joint session of the state House and Senate. A State of the Judiciary address had not been given since 2000

State Rep. Pete Lund, R-Shelby Township, is sworn in to the Michigan House of Representatives. Joining him are his wife Karen and their daughters Mary, age 13; and Laura, 9.
